Aqaunauts - Club Info

The Aquanauts SCUBA Club of MTU is a student organization of Michigan Technological University. The club is governed by the members, led by student officers and assisted by faculty and community advisors. Individuals from the community are also welcome as members.

Aquanauts membership fees are $15 per semester (Fall, Spring, Summer). Paid members who are certified divers may borrow Club gear and obtain air fills with no additional fees. Sorry, but the Club is not equipped to rent gear or provide SCUBA tank fills to non-members. If you wish to become a member, please join us at any meeting or send us an email. If you are a diver, please remember to bring your certification card.

The Club meets each Tuesday night on the odd numbered instruction weeks of the University's Fall and Spring Academic schedule. There are no formal meetings during the summer. Meetings are held at 8:00PM in the Student Development Complex, in Room 237 near the elevator.

Between meetings, members frequently keep in touch about dive activities through the Club's list server. To subscribe to our email list, email majordomo@mtu.edu. Leave the subject line of the email blank, and simply put "subscribe scuba-l" in the body of the message. Leave out the quotation marks, and it is a lowercase letter "L" that follows the dash.
